14 seniors, formed into 5 groups, each designed a prototype project for the International Space Station (ISS) within their Engineering Design and Development class, the cap zone class with Project Lead The Way (PLTW). Four of these five groups were selected by NASA HUNCH as finalists to present these projects to NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. With the help of Mr. Gerstner, who spear-headed and organized trips, the finalists traveled to Houston in April to present their designs, and last weekend, all were invited to receive recognition aboard the USS Intrepid (Air and Space Museum) in NYC. We are proud of our students! What an amazing accomplishment! Go, Gladiators!
